In case you can’t tell, this blog is “about” Tyco R/C vehicles! I mostly created it to connect with other collectors and share info. I’ve already had a few non-Tyco posts, so I may be changing that mission statement soon, but in general, it will focus on my little nerdy hobbies.
While this blog mainly focuses on classic Tyco R/C vehicles, I have a lot of other equally nerdy interests, R/C is just my latest obsession :). In addition to my Tyco collection, I also have fun with hobby-grade RC vehicles. I currently own a Traxxas Rustler VXL, Traxxas E-Maxx 3906, Traxxas Ken Block Gymkhana, Traxxas Revo, and Team Losi XXX-S. I’ve also owned 2 HPI Savages, an Axial SCX10, and a Traxxas Slash VXL. I dabble in R/C helis as well. While I currently only own a few Syma micros (S107G and S026 Chinook), I got into the hobby with a Blade CX2 and mSR. My next toy will probably be a Blade mCP X.
While R/C gets the most of my “fun budget” these days, videogames were my primary interest up until a few years ago. I’ve got a few notable collections – an SNES Super Scope and every game for it, a near complete Virtual Boy collection, several boxes of Atari 2600 games – the pride and joy of my collection is my custom MAME cabinet. I may be posting a blog for that soon as well. I’m actually working with a good friend and indie developer to make an iPhone game right now, we’re making good progress and should be releasing it by the end of the year.
My other interests are less blog-worthy. I like hanging out with friends, catching up on movies, finding new bands… This is starting to sound like a MySpace profile so I’ll stop there!
